*****CLASS NEWS***** It's wonderful to see everyone doing well.
I was married in Sept. 1998 after getting my nursing license.
Divorced in 2001. Enough said about that. On September 11,
2001 I met my husband in the Greyhound terminal in Norfolk. We
were married in 2002. Shortly thereafter, we welcomed Hannah
Marie Wilson into our family. I already had a step-daughter who
after almost 7 years I was able to adopt. So at this point I
have a 9 year-old and a 5 year-old. I am disabled (severe
Fibromyalgia) so I get to stay home and try to be Donna Reed.
I'm failing miserably at that by the way. Anyway, if you

is Shanika Satterfield, yes I am still a Satterfield. I have
one daughter that's 3 years old, and she's enough. I currently

message like everyone else. I graduated from VA Wesleyan in 2002 with
my teaching licence. I worked for 4 years in Portsmouth Public Schools
and recently (2006) took a job in Chesapeake at Great Bridge
Intermediate (YES that hurts!) I married David Phillips who did
attend Deep Creek for some time. We have two beautiful boys Zachary
(2000) and Matthew (2005). I haven't seen too many people since we
left, but I do hope the reunion works out! See you guys then!!
After High School, I went to ODU for my BSN, and am now a nurse working
at CHKD. I married Matt Manier, and we just celebrated our 6 year
anniversary. We have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old daughter, Savannah, who
amazes me with her love and energy every day! We still live here in Deep
Creek. It's great to read about how well everyone is doing! Michelle Whittaker (C/O99) and I were married on
March 25, 2006 and we are currently living in Deep Creek.

IN JULY 2000. WE HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD SON NAMED
KHALIL NKOSI. MARCUS IS A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
FOR LAWSON REALTY. WE ARE DOING VERY WELL AND

Hello everyone, It's great to see that you all are
doing so well. I married my high school sweetheart

c/o 1999 on August 21, 2004. Together we share a
five year old daughter (Yasmin
) and a 3 wk. old son
(Elijah). We still reside in the city of Chesapeake. I
currently work for the state as an Information
Technology Specialist III. I am also the minister of
music of Pleasant Grove Pentecostal Holiness of
Chesapeake. Reunion is almost here. Hope to see

BEAUTIFUL WIFE THERESA, FROM NC, AND TWO HIGH MAINTENANCE DAUGHTERS
MAKYLAH AND MADYSON. I WENT INTO THE MILITARY, NAVY SPECIAL FORCES,
RIGHT AFTER HIGH SCHOOL AND HAVE BEEN EVER SINCE. I'VE SEEN A LOT OF
THINGS AND LOST A LOT OF FRIENDS! WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER! PEACE Y'ALL I'm currently in the Air
Force and married living Panama City, Florida. My wife name is Kymberly
Harris and my daughter is Kiyone Ranae Harris. I have lived in Alaska
for 3 years it wasn't bad as you may think. The weather is cold but the
people are nice. Would love to go back if I could. If you would like
drop me a line I would love to hear from anyone. I graduated from Norfolk State University with a BA in
Psychology, currently in graduate school. I'm presently residing in
Chesapeake.
Jennifer Copeland Wilson
Wuz good fellow classmates! I have just
recently taken a look at the website to see what is going on at
the Creek and was happy to see much success with a lot of
classmates. I am doing quite well now, very blessed to say the
least. Me and the wife now live in Ocean View in a new home
that we purchased last year while I was deployed to Kuwait. We
have 4 beautiful children that are gifted as well. A lot of
people didn't know that I could sing and they have that gift as
well. They also love to dance. (watch out Chris Crown) 1
daughter Cheaqueala, and three sons Marquell, Ramel and Tre. It
has been a long time and it would be nice to see more of the
classmates some time. I see some of them, because a lot of them
still hang around out in Camelot. Anyway, I could type forever.
I pray everyone is faring well and will continue to do so in

Laura and I were married in December 2000.
We currently have two daughters, Jenna 10 months (03/08) and
Hailey 4 years (04/08). We are both currently working for the
Target corporation, myself as an Executive of Human Resources.
I graduated from ODU in 2000 and now reside in Abingdon, MD
(Baltimore Metro).

Hey yall, just wanted to update my info as
of this 2008 year. I am married to a wonderful God-loving man
named Jason, who's from Richmond, VA. I am loving my job out
here in TX as a bankruptcy counselor. Both my husband and I
look forward to making that big move back to VA in the next
couple of years. Sorry I missed yaw at the reunion, but glad to
read how well life has been to all of us.

After graduation I attended Norfolk State
University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Mass
Communications. I currently reside in Charlotte, NC with my wife
Jennifer and our 5 children. I am working for Wachovia bank as
a Operations Systems Processing Specialist. I hope all is well

JOSEPH SULLIVAN I graduated from Old Dominion University
with a BSBA in Financial Management in May 2002. Sara, Simon
(son) and I live on the Outer Banks where I sell real estate and
work for one of the town engineers on the island. I hope
everyone is well. 10 years went by pretty quickly.

colleagues! Some of my greatest memories are from Deep Creek
even though I had to move and did not get to march with the
class. I attended Norfolk State, graduating in 2000, in
Criminal Justice and completed my Masters in Public
Administration in 2002 from Troy State. I currently work for
the Department of Defense as a Logistics Manager. I also mentor
at risk youth. I have one son, Marquee, who is 4 years old.
Irvinia Jackson
Hi everyone! I'm glad to see my former
classmates have all turned out to become good hard working
child-rearing Americans! I've also finally managed to settle
down in my home town Nijmegen and got married to my beautiful
wife Anne. We have an even more beautiful daughter Dio (8
months) and couldn't be happier. I just started a job as a
communications trainer. I have fond memories of
my time in the US and give my best wishes to all of my friends
from Deep Creek!

Hello to all my Deep Creek Family. It was
nice to see that so many of you are blessed and doing well. I
am living in Northern Virginia. I've been married for 4 years
to Cory Lanier, who I met at Virginia Tech. We have two
beautiful children. Nina is 2 and Myles is seven months old.
I'm still teaching. I'm also still writing. I hope to release
my first novel in January 2007. It would be great to hear from
any of you. Take care of yourselves.

Tony Kelly and I were married June
25, 1998. We were stationed in Fort Worth, TX with the United
States Marine Corp that same year. We have two wonderful
children born in TX. Our son Logan is 7 and our daughter Laynie
is 6. We are currently living in Deep Creek, and looking forward
to seeing all of you again.

Hello colleagues! Knowing you guys
in high school was the best! I still get weak thinking about the things that
I used to get into during track practices and meets. This is
Delicia Hurdle Boakye (“Dee”) sending a shout out! I’m doing
remarkably well up in the Washington-DC Metro area. I’ve been married to
Victor Boakye since August 10, 2002. We met where I attended college
(George Mason University, Fairfax VA) in May 1998 and we have been loving
each other and life ever since. We have no bad children (or any at all for
that matter) and I’m seriously complicating whether children will fit into
my extremely ambitious career aspirations. Anyway, I currently just
graduated with my MBA and working as an Investment Banker in the
Washington-DC area. Next year, I will be entering Georgetown Law School and
hopefully be blessed with an illustrious career in Mergers and Acquisitions
Law. Wishing everyone from my wonderful hometown of Chesapeake (especially
Deep Creek) much love, happiness and peace.

with a recent update on my life situation. I have
been married since July 12, 2003 to the love of my
life Kimmeco Hinton (Gee) from the class of 2000.
We have a three year old son Willie O. Hinton IV
that we love so dearly. We have recently purchased
a house in the Cavalier Manor section of Portsmouth
and are doing well from the grace of God. I'm in my
fifth year of teaching at Ocean View Elementary
School in Norfolk. I'm also an Athletic Director
for the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Virginia
where I love working with children of all ages on a
daily basis. Peace out; catch ya'll on the rebound.

I just got married May 14, 2005,
we had 8 bridesmaids which included 2 people you may remember. My
best friends Jamila Claud and her daughter (my goddaughter) Imani Claud
and Sherritta Boone and daughter. Tynetta Adonna Barnyard Davis couldn't
attend due to travel and new baby. My wedding was of course in the big
apple, need I say more. We reside in Brooklyn NY. I'm a licensed nurse and love my
work. My husband's name is Kenny and he is from the Caribbean island of
Grenada most of you probably don't know so I usually just say Jamaica
which we will be visiting very soon.

I graduated from Old Dominion
University in 2000 with a BS in Biology and a double minor in Chemistry
and Oceanography. I am currently a Health Physicist at Norfolk Naval
Shipyard. We bought a house in Moyock NC in 2000, we are still there and
I love it. I married Ryan Farmer from Great Bridge. We have one
child together, Julia Raven Farmer, she is 5 years old. I also have a
12 years old step son, Ryan D. Farmer.

Steven Verdi graduated
from Old Dominion University in Dec. 2002 with a Bachelor's of Science
in Business Administration in Finance. I am currently completing my
Master's In Business Administration. I am working for AllFirst LLC an
industrial engineering and contracting company as the director of the
finance. Steven & his brother Joe currently own, operate, and play for
a minor league professional football team call the Virginia Hurricanes.

A big HELLO from Luke Marcum(c/o
’95 ) and Nicole Alder (c/o of ’96) from their home in
Wilson, NC. It was impressive to see what so many of you all have been
up to. Luke and Nicole both attended TCC after graduating. Luke
graduated in May of 1997 with an A.S. in Criminal Justice and then
transferred to Saint Leo University where he also majored in Criminal
Justice. Before finishing, Luke moved to NC and started basic
Law Enforcement Training. Luke and Nicole married on August 1,
1998 at Deep Creek Baptist Church. After marrying, Nicole moved
to Wilson, NC where Luke had been hired as Police Officer about
four moths earlier. In May of 1995 Nicole graduated from Pitt
Community College with a degree in Healthcare Management and five months
later we were the proud parents of our first child, Austin. Currently,
Nicole is employed in the Administrative Office at a local
Women’s Health Clinic. Luke finally returned to Saint Leo and
graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and is looking at plans to
start his graduate work in Public Administration. Luke is still
employed as a Senior Police Officer with the Wilson Police Department
where he specializes in Traffic Enforcement and Traffic Crash
Reconstruction. Luke also serves as Emergency Medical Technician
– Intermediate with Wilson County EMS and as an instructor at Coastal
Plains Law Enforcement Training Center. Luke and Nicole built a
new home in the Elm City section of Wilson County in 2004 and are happy
as ever. They are both active in their church where they both serve as
Teachers and sing and play with a Praise and Worship group called the

Hello Deep Creek! It is so nice to
hear all the wonderful things that has happened in your lives. This is Natasha
Halsey. No my name has not changed. I am still single and I reside in
Chesapeake with my two foster daughters. I graduated from Norfolk State
University with a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Biology. I am currently the
lead Biology teacher at Norview High School in the city of Norfolk. I am so
looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion. God Bless You!

state of VA as a Registered Nurse and am working in the Emergency Department

and have one son, Alexander who is 3. Amanda Martel and I are still
close friends and we are working on her wedding planned for Oct.

graduation I attended Virginia Commonwealth for 1 year and then transferred to
Norfolk State University where I majored in Special Education and graduated in
2001. I currently teach in Chesapeake at Hugo Owens Middle School as a 7th
grade LD Resource teacher. I returned to school in 2003 to obtain my
masters and graduated from Regent University in 2004 with a masters in
Educational Leadership/Administration. I have two children Kayla (7yrs)
old and I just recently gave birth to baby boy Micah on January 14, 2005.
Can't forget about hubby. I was married in 1998 to Richard Gould from

worked with Delegate Winsome Sears as a Legislation Researcher while she was
serving delegate in the 90th district.
My husband and I purchased our second home in January 2005. February 19, 2005, I delivered my husband and I first born
child. Her name is Shauna Marie Davis (Shelton

am currently a city planner and my husband is a computer programmer for

He worked at Dominion Semiconductor in Manassas, VA for 3 1/2 years as a Litho
Equipment Technician. Then he bought a house in Mechanicsville, VA 2 1/2 years
ago. and he now works at Infineon Technologies Richmond as an Etch Maintenance
Equipment Technician.
Carrie Ford
married Marlo Maglalang on June 14, 2003. She graduated in 2000 from ODU
with a Criminal Justice BS degree. She has been a
Norfolk Police Officer for 3 years.

in May of 2002 and moved to San Diego, CA
where she is currently working for an International Logistics Company.
Kolby Reese
graduated from Radford University class of 2001 with a double major in criminal
justice & psychology also a minor in sociology. After college
graduation I joined the VA Beach police department. I live in VA Beach with my
dog, Winger.

Travis
joined the Navy in June 1997 and has recently assisted the 26th Marine
Expeditionary Unit during a 2 week bilateral training exercise in Albania while
assigned to the amphibious assault ship Iwo Jima.
DWAYNE GODETTE GRADUATED FROM OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY WITH A
DEGREE IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION. HE IS CURRENTLY WORKING AT HUGO OWENS
MIDDLE SCHOOL AS A PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER & THE HEAD COACH FOR
THE BASKETBALL TEAM THERE. HE IS ALSO CURRENTLY ATTENDING NORFOLK STATE
UNIVERSITY SEEKING A MASTER DEGREE IN URBAN EDUCATION LEADERSHIP.
I married my prom date Larry Wright of
Chesapeake the day after Graduation and we now have a 2 year old son
(Jack-Avery). I am a home owner in the City of Portsmouth and I am employed as
an Administrative Assistant at a local Electric Company. I have been looking
forward to my High School Reunion since Graduation and I think of my former

Harmonie Harris Seemann
got her EMT certification in 1997 and worked at Station 8 in Deep Creek for a
year. She got married on Nov. 30, 2002 to George Seemann, Jr, from New York.
They now live in Portsmouth, Va and are raising his 7 year old son, Joseph.
Harmonie is a stay at home mom. George has just been sent to CA for the
war, not sure if he will go over sea's yet. Would love to here from all my
old friends.
Tiffany Gause
After graduating Tiffany joined the Army Reserves. Soon after, she went to
Norfolk State University. She graduated in May of 2001 with a BA in Accounting.
Unfortunetly, she has recently been activated to defend our country and
assist in Operation Enduring Freedom. I also have a son whom is now 4 years old
and his name is Adrian. Please pray for my family and I.

Stephanie R. Stevenson
After graduating from Deep Creek High School, she
attended Virginia Wesleyan College and graduated in 2000 with a BA in
Communications and a minor in English. She has been employed by Trader
Publishing Company for over two years, first as a graphic designer and currently
as an Account Executive in their National Headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia. Ms.
Stevenson currently resides the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake, VA.
Crystal Munden
Congratulations to Crystal who got married on
8-10-02. She married a South Norfolk boy and now has the last name of
Pendergraft. Kelly Bateman (Martinec) ~1996 served as a bridesmaid.
Her husband Richard Martinec ~1994 was a reader.
Derrick Perkins
Derrick has one child, Jordan C. Perkins. He completed Hampton University
in 2000 and received his Masters from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002.
