*****CLASS NOTES*****

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm still living in the Deep Creek area. I've been married for 21 years to the same guy. My high school sweetheart. We have two great kids who are very active in baseball. Our oldest one plays baseball for Deep Creek High and is on a showcase team that travels around. He is the starting pitcher for the team and plays 2nd, shortstop, and 1st base. Our youngest is 11 years old and plays on a travel team also. He is a catcher, plays 2nd base, and outfield. As you can see, we stay busy year round with baseball.
I've been employed in law enforcement for 19 years and love it. I work in the Civil Enforcement Section of the department. My husband Lance has been a Fire fighter/Paramedic for 22 years with the City of Chesapeake. We both still go to the football games and are strong supporters of Deep Creek. I don't think we will ever leave the area. I hope everyone from the class of 85 is doing great.
Michelle Slaughter Barker

I have been married to Keith Brown (Norfolk Catholic c/o 85) for 9 years. We have 3 children; Joshua, age 17 (from my 1st marriage), Keishawn, age 6, and Keianna age 4. I graduated from ODU with a degree in Accounting and Commonwealth College with a degree in Office Administration. I have been a stay at home mom for the past five years. My husband and I have owned and operated K-Sweat Trucking since 1998. We reside in Suffolk.
Pamela "Logan" Brown

I am re-married to David Johnston almost two years now. We got married right after hurricane Isabel. But even with her wrath all went without a problem. I have with 2 children. David Allen Wetmore from a previous marriage, age 11, and a new baby girl Darcy Rae Johnston born April 26, 2005. We live in Great Bridge. I work for Bank of America in downtown Norfolk for going on 12 years.
Diana Short Johnston

I have one son, Christopher Dalton from a previous marriage, age 12. I am remarried going on 2 years now to a wonderful man, Chris Schwartz. I have been living in Richmond, VA for 10 years, employed with Markel Corporation for 10 years. Hope all is well.
Joelle Canterbury Schwartz

I am married to Jimmy Thorne. We have 2 wonderful boys, Jimmy Jr. and Dylan. We live in Richmond, Virginia. I graduated from VA. Wesleyan College in 1988 with a degree in Mathematics/Computer Science. Sherri Parsons Thorne
Michelle Edwards has been married to Wayne Wright (Indian River Alumni) for 11 years. They have two daughters, Hilary 10 and Kelsey 8. She has two children from her first marriage -- Jessica Mason is a Graduating Senior at Deep Creek this year, and Joshua Mason will be a Junior at Deep Creek in the fall.
