I have segued to a new radio station, I am now with Adult Urban Contemporary station, WHRP 93.3/94.1 FM in Huntsville, AL. Currently, the station is not streaming on the web.

I am devastated that I missed our 20 Year Class Reunion.  I attended a couple of the meetings and I just don't know what happened.  Anyway, I would like to update my information in case any wants to contact me.  I looked at the pictures that were online and it looks as though you guys had an awesome time.  I was really surprised to see a lot of people that did not attend the 10 Year Reunion.  I also wanted to let everyone know that I am finally getting married.  YEAH, CATHY!  I will be marrying my soul mate on August 6, 2005.  I would love to see some of you attend my wedding.  Send me an email at dvscthy@yahoo.com or call me 463-3313.

Gary Boone join the Marine Corps and after serving 9 years he is now with the U.S. Border Patrol.

Janet Eubanks Turner is now living in Suffolk with her husband and two boys, Derek 12 and Wesley 9.

Alicia Gay and Allen Taylor Jr. have been married for 17 years and are traveling the world compliments of the US Army. They presently live in Columbia, SC but Allen is in Germany serving our country.  They have 3 children: Allen III, Alexis Joyce, and Alex Xavier. Janet is trying to find old classmates: Tracy Perkins, Chris Sanford, Andre Darden, Where are you guys? Just wondering!

Linda Chambliss Jackson has been married for 13 years. They have 2 children,  Le'Nee' "16" and Jamal "9."  They currently live in Virginia Beach.

Sherry Baldwin Savage has been married to her husband Guy for 9 years.  They have a son and a daughter and make their home in Suffolk.

Trish Clark Berresford is happily married to her husband Dave for 13 years now. They have 2 daughters and live in Richmond.

Joan Thaxton Aleman lives in Atlanta GA with her husband and two children.

  Cindy Johnson is married to Leon Goley from Western Branch '82. They have a son that graduates in the class of 2003 and 4 other kids. (2 are hers and 3 are his) If any body knows about the 1983 20 year reunion please let me know.  I was living in Minnesota when the 10 year reunion was going on and would really love to be there this time around. I would love to hear from some of my classmates.

Navy Petty Officer First Class Thomas Strachan recently visited Lisbon, Portugal during a six month deployment to the Mediterranean Sean and Arabian Gulf while assigned to the aircraft carrier Enterprise.

Doug Brinker
CHESAPEAKE - Doug Brinker, 43, passed away March 4, 2008, at University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born in Washington D.C. Doug grew up in Chesapeake and graduated from Deep Creek High School, subsequently graduating from Radford University and serving in the U.S. Army. He was most recently employed by SRA as a network engineer and previously employed by Carnival Cruise Line and sailed on the Queen Mary II. He had the opportunity to see the world. He was a beloved son, brother and friend. Doug's kind, loving and carefree spirit impacted countless individuals. His love of life was apparent to all who knew him and he will be sorely missed. Doug leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mary and father Edwin, his brother, Erik and sister, Deborah and his best friend and devoted dog Marley. He leaves a host of family and friends all over the world. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted by the Rev. Michael G. Boehling Tuesday at noon in Holy Angels Catholic Church, 34 Afton Parkway, Portsmouth. Viewing will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Snellings Funeral Home, 1144 N. George Washington Highway, Chesapeake. The family will also receive friends at the residence of his mother, 641 Baywood Trail, Chesapeake at other times. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com.
