*****CLASS NEWS*****
Hello to all of my friends from DCHS. I am truly
thankful for God's blessings over the years. He has given me a wonderful wife,
Joy (a Western Branch graduate) and a son, Jordan, 24. He and she are the
heroes of my life. Jordan has cerebral palsy and she has worked tirelessly to
make his life rich and full. Chesapeake is so busy now when i visit. It is
hard to believe I used to run from school to Baker's Corner on Cedar Road. Not
with the traffic that goes .through there, now. I wrote that Run-On sentence
for Mr. Callahan. The school where I teach is almost as crazy about football as
DC was. Go Hornets!!

Mike
Miller was inducted in the Deep Creek Hall of Fame. In the very first
year Mike along with Mrs. Shirley Carey Walters (C/O52) , Mr. Darren
Perry (C/O87) & Mr. Nat Hardee (C/O58) were inducted. Congratulations
Mike!

Sue Kretzer Bunting has moved back to her home in Norfolk from Michigan FINALLY !!
I grew up in the St. Julian Creek area.
I am a graduate of Norfolk State University, and Hampton University. I
taught at Great
Bridge High in Chesapeake, and in Baltimore City School System where I am now.
I also served with the Chesapeake Sheriffs Department. I went into
the Army as an officer upon leaving Norfolk State University. I am
presently separated, but have fours sons. Three live in Chesapeake, and
one in New York. I remember my guidance counselor telling me that I was not
college material, and probably would not graduate. I retuned to show her
my bachelor of science degree, and masters. Some prediction?? Always encourage,
never discourage a person from their goals. My thanks to all.

Hello Fellow Hornets!!! Geez, where have the years gone??? I
am an RN at Chesapeake General. Work all night shifts and have missed all my
class reunions thus far. Have 4 beautiful grandchildren and am married to my
sole-mate Eddie for 19 years now!! I have been an RN for 23 yrs!!! Love what I
do!!! Still live in Deep Creek...just couldn't bear to leave :) Hope someday to
head south when I ever retire!!! My brothers are there and with my parents both
deceased I miss what family I have left. Hope to hear from someone!! God Bless
to all!!!

THE RAPIER'S
On July 5, 2003, all seven of us gathered
together to celebrate our youngest sister, Millie's, "fiftieth
birthday". Yep, our baby sister is "50", but doesn't look a
day over 39. Tommy and Linda Rapier were terrific hosts for the Birthday
pool party at their home on Old Mill Road. Here we are:
